Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 12-year-old Hispanic female that occurred in a hospital.

The coroner’s office identified the person as Marilyn Reyes Hernandez.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Sequelae of Near-Drowning

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Tuesday at 2:00 a.m.

The Department of Medical Examiner publicly disclosed the CoD ruling on August 16.
