(L.A.) Marilyn Charette, 82, Died from an Accident

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of an 82-year-old White/Caucasian female in Burbank.

The coroner’s office has identified the woman as Marilyn Charette.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Blunt Traumatic Injuries

RIP MARILYN ANN CHARETTE (December 28, 1940 – October 10, 2023)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Tuesday at 4:10 p.m.

The decedent was Sister Marilyn Charette, who had been a Sister of Providence for 58 years.

While crossing the intersection of West Verdugo Avenue and North Buena Vista Street at around 9:00 a.m., she was hit by a Toyota Tundra pickup truck that was driving westbound on Verdugo Avenue.

She was taken to Providence Holy Cross Trauma Center in Burbank, where she was died that afternoon.
