(L.A.) Marco Duarte Gonzalez, 60, Died in a Hospital

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 60-year-old Latino male that occurred in a hospital.

The coroner’s office identified the man as Marco Duarte Gonzalez of Long Beach.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Blunt-Force Head Trauma

RIP MARCO DUARTE-GONZALEZ (April 25, 1965 – April 29, 2025)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Tuesday at 4:10 a.m.

The decedent was walking in the area of Cedar Avenue and Anaheim Street when he was hit by a vehicle.

Long Beach PD responded at around 3:16 p.m. and found the driver had remained on scene.

Paramedics transported the victim to a hospital where he succumbed to his injuries a month later.
