(L.A.) Marcianna Crabtree, 51, Died From a Polydrug Overdose

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 51-year-old Caucasian female that occurred at her residence.

The coroner’s office has identified the woman as Marcianna Crabtree.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Combined Effects of Fluoxetine, Methamphetamine, Risperidone and Gabapentin

Other Significant Conditions: Medical History of Emphysema, Petit Mal Seizures, Anxiety and Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Tuesday at 1:11 a.m.

This is considered an accidental, i.e., unintentional, polydrug overdose.

Due to their differing mechanisms of action and potential interactions, the combined effects of fluoxetine (brand name Prozac), methamphetamine, risperidone (brand name Risperdal), and gabapentin can be complex and potentially dangerous.
