(L.A.) Manuel Mora, 52, Died on a Beach

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 52-year-old Latino male that occurred on a beach.

The coroner’s office has identified the man as Manuel Mora.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Methamphetamine Intoxication

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Tuesday at 7:33 a.m.

The Department of Medical Examiner publicly disclosed the CoD ruling on June 13, presumably after the results of tox screening had come back positive for the drug.

Video description: On Tuesday morning, a lifeless body was discovered on the beach in Santa Monica south of the Pier by Tower 22. Witness stated it was a homeless man, who appeared to be white or Hispanic, with tattoos on his chest and shoulders. He was found with his bicycle and some belongings.
