Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 71-year-old Latino male that occurred at his residence.

The coroner’s office has identified the man as Manuel Maldonado.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Remote Blunt-Force Trauma of the Head

Other Significant Condition: Pneumonia and Liver Cirrhosis

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Tuesday at 8:33 a.m.

The Department of Medical Examiner publicly disclosed the CoD ruling on September 28.
