(L.A.) Manuel Garcia, 56, Died From Meth Use

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 56-year-old Latino male that occurred at his residence.

The coroner’s office has identified the man as Manuel Garcia.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Arteriosclerotic Cardiovascular Disease

Other Significant Condition: Methamphetamine Effects

RIP MANUEL GARCIA (May 12, 1968 – November 19, 2024)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Tuesday at 12:18 p.m.

Ruling by the deputy medical examiner was published on February 22, presumably after the results of tox screening had come back from the lab.

This is considered an accidental, i.e., unintentional, drug overdose.
