Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 29-year-old Black male that occurred in a hospital.
The coroner’s office has identified the man as Luther Crayton.
Manner of Death: Homicide
Cause of Death: Gunshot Wounds
RIP LUTHER CRAYTON (August 6, 1993 – June 7, 2023)
Formal pronouncement of death was made on Wednesday at 9:38 p.m.
The decedent was one of two men who were fatally shot at a motel in Lancaster during an apparent robbery. The incident location was the Best Value Inn at 44131 Sierra Highway in Lancaster.
Shane Wallace died on scene. Luther Crayton was transported to a hospital where he died.
