Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 30-year-old Hispanic female.
The coroner’s office has identified the woman as Luisa Arenas Bernal.

Cause of Death: Multiple Traumatic Injuries

The decedent and her family were from Colombia. She, her husband, and their two daughters were the victims in a car crash.
LAPD said the incident happened on New Year’s Eve, at around 11:30 p.m.
A speeding SUV ignored a stop sign in an attempt to flee a separate crash. The SUV then hit the family’s car. The impact caused their vehicle to crash into a street sign and a fence.
Paramedics would find the father, 49-year-old Jose Pascagaza, lifeless at the scene.
The mother and their two daughters were transported to a hospital. Unfortunately, Bernal and 5-year-old Mia Pascagaza also succumbed to their injuries. The surviving daughter is a one-year-old named Hanna.

Jordan Kahari Isaac, 22, was driving under the influence and now faces murder and gross vehicular manslaughter charges.
