(L.A.) Luis Zelaya, 35, Died at a Residence

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 35-year-old Latin American male that occurred at his residence.

The coroner’s office has identified the man as Luis Zelaya.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Ethanol Intoxication

Other Significant Conditions: Caffeine Use; Hyponatremia

RIP LUIS ZELAYA (August 19, 1974 – January 7, 2011)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Friday at 3:09 p.m.

This is considered an accidental, i.e., unintentional, substance overdose.

Alcohol deaths can be classified as accidents under the assumption that the sots didn’t intend to kill themselves.
