(L.A.) Luis Romero, 28, Died on a Sidewalk

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 28-year-old Latino male that occurred on a sidewalk.

The coroner’s office has identified the man as Luis Romero.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Effects of Fentanyl and Methamphetamine

RIP LUIS ROMERO (September 17, 1994 – August 10, 2023)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Thursday at 9:25 a.m.

Ruling by the deputy medical examiner was published on December 15, presumably after the results of tox screening came back positive for the drugs.

Note that there are multiple decedents named “Luis Romero” in public records.
