(L.A.) Luis Enriquez Castellanos, 62, Died From Meth

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 62-year-old Latino male that occurred at his residence.

The coroner’s office has identified the man as Luis Enriquez Castellanos.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Atherosclerotic Cardiovascular Disease

Other Significant Condition: Effects of Methamphetamine

RIP LUIS ENRIQUEZ CASTELLANOS (August 2, 1962 – September 12, 2024)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Thursday at 12:53 p.m.

Ruling by the deputy medical examiner was published on December 27, presumably after the results of tox screening had come back from the lab.

This is considered an accidental, i.e., unintentional, drug overdose.
