(L.A.) Luis Celis Chavez, 29, Died in Westlake

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 29-year-old Latino male that occurred at a public park.

The coroner’s office identified the man as Luis Celis Chavez.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Fentanyl and Methamphetamine Toxicity

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Monday.

The decedent appeared to have been homeless. He was found lifeless at MacArthur Park in Westlake, just east of downtown L.A.
