Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 26-year-old Black male that occurred on the Hollywood (101) Freeway in East Hollywood

The coroner’s office has identified the man as Lorenzo Lewis.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Traumatic Injuries

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Friday at 5:55 a.m.

The decedent was fatally hit on the southbound Hollywood (101) Freeway near the Vermont Avenue off-ramp.
