(L.A.) Lora Swayne, 71, Died in the Eaton Fire

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 71-year-old female that occurred at her residence in Altadena.

The coroner’s office identified the woman as Lora Swayne.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Inhalation of Products of Combustion and Thermal Injuries

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Sunday at 11:38 a.m.

The decedent perished in the Eaton Fire. Her remains were found in the 500 block of East Las Flores.

She was Unidentified Doe #46. The government investigator had initially given her race/ethnicity as White/Caucasian, later changing it to Black.
