(L.A.) Llanuel Orta, 38, Died on a Railroad Track

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 38-year-old Latino male that occurred on a railroad track.

The coroner’s office has identified the man as Llanuel Orta.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Effects of Fentanyl and Methamphetamine

Other Significant Condition: Recent Cocaine Use

RIP LLANUEL ORTA (February 22, 1985 – November 7, 2023)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Tuesday at 12:30 p.m.

Ruling by the deputy medical examiner was published on January 23, presumably after the results of tox screening came back positive from the lab.

This is considered an accidental drug overdose.
