(L.A.) Linda Macon, 56, Died at an Encampment

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 56-year-old Black female that occurred at an encampment.

The coroner’s office identified the woman as Linda Macon.

Cause of Death: History of Drug Use

RIP LINDA MACON (October 2, 1968 – March 26, 2025)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Wednesday at 9:32 p.m.

Ruling by the deputy medical examiner was published on June 21, presumably after the results of tox screening had come back from the lab.

This is considered an accidental, i.e., unintentional, drug overdose.
