(L.A.) Lewis Bobbitt, 64, Died in a Hospital

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 64-year-old White/Caucasian male that occurred in a hospital.

The coroner’s office has identified the man as Lewis Bobbitt.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death A: Acute Cardiac Dysfunction

Cause of Death B: Atherosclerotic Cardiovascular Disease

Other Significant Conditions: Combined Effects of Methamphetamine and Fentanyl, Hypertension, Diabetes Melitus with Renal Disease, Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease

RIP LEWIS BOBBITT (September 20, 1959 – May 31, 2024)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Friday at 2:47 a.m.

Ruling by the deputy medical examiner was published on August 24, presumably after the results of tox screening had come back positive for the drugs.

This is considered an accidental drug overdose.
