(L.A.) Levern Hill, 32, Died in a Hospital

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 32-year-old Black male that occurred in a hospital.

The coroner’s office identified the man as Levern Hill.

Manner of Death: Homicide

Cause of Death: Multiple Gunshot Wounds

RIP LEVERN EUGENE HILL (March 22, 1993 – September 6, 2025)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Saturday.

The shooting happened at around 4:12 p.m.

Incident location was 619 South Westlake Avenue, about a block east of MacArthur Park.

The decedent had a rap sheet going back more than a decade, with arrests for burglary, battery, threats of violence, and narcotics possession.
