The coroner’s office has identified the man as Leo Rachal Jr and listed his race/ethnicity as Black.

Cause of Death: Blunt Traumatic Injuries

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Friday at 11:24 p.m.

The medical examiner had originally posted the decedent’s name as “Leo Jr Rachal” and only later corrected it to Leo Rachar Jr. The investigator in charge of this case is Brenda Shafer.
