(L.A.) Lauren Mao, 45, Died at a Residence

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 45-year-old Asian female that occurred at a residence.

The coroner’s office has identified the woman as Lauren Mao.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Fentanyl Intoxication

RIP LAUREN MAO (September 24, 1977 – August 31, 2023)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Thursday at 4:23 p.m.

Ruling by the deputy medical examiner was published on November 8, presumably after the results of tox screening came back positive for the drug.
