Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 40-year-old Black female that occurred at her home.
The coroner’s office identified the woman as Latasha Flowers, resident of East 94th Street in the 90003.
Manner of Death: Accident
Cause of Death: Effects of Olanzapine, Clonazepam, Diazepam, and Morphine
Other Significant Condition: Recent Use of Hydrocodone

This is considered an accidental, i.e., unintentional, polydrug overdose.
Olanzapine (sold under the trade name Zyprexa among others) is an antipsychotic medication primarily used to treat schizophrenia and bipolar disorder. Like other antipsychotic drugs, olanzapine can worsen suicidal thoughts or behavior.
