Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 42-year-old Black male that occurred in a park.

The coroner’s office has identified the man as Larry Dorsey.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Effects of Fentanyl and Methamphetamine

RIP LARRY DORSEY (April 30, 1981 – June 4, 2023)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Sunday at 11:55 p.m.

Ruling by the deputy medical examiner was published on November 8, presumably after the results of tox screening came back positive for the drugs. This was an accidental overdose.
