(L.A.) Lance Lott, 21, Died on the Freeway

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 21-year-old male of Caucasian ethnicity that occurred on a freeway.

The coroner’s office has identified the man as Lance Lott.

California Highway Patrol stated that the decedent was fatally struck by a vehicle on the Golden State (5) Freeway at the Castaic Scales in Santa Clarita.

The crash on the northbound freeway occurred at about 2:50 a.m. on Saturday and involved a white van.

Manner and cause of death have not yet been formally disclosed by the government’s medical examiner; the information will be added to this page as soon as it becomes available.
