(L.A.) Kim Chilman-Blair, 45, Died in Malibu

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 45-year-old Caucasian female that occurred in her own home.

The coroner’s office has identified the woman as Malibu resident Kim Chilman-Blair.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Fentanyl Intoxication

Other Significant Condition: Effects of Flubromazolam

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Saturday at 9:48 a.m.

This is considered an accidental drug overdose.

Dr. Kim Chilman-Blair was known as the founder of Medicine X. She was a native of New Zealand.

On March 4, 2021, Michael Frampton filed a Divorce/Separation case against Kim Chilman-Blair in L.A. County Superior Courts. The medical examiner ruled her death an accident and not a suicide or homicide.

She is survived by three young sons.
