Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 32-year-old Latino male that occurred in a hospital.

The coroner’s office identified the man as Kevin Perez of San Pedro.

Manner of Death: Homicide

Cause of Death: Multiple Gunshot Wounds

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Friday.

The decedent was shot by California Highway Patrol (CHP) officers at a Covina gas station following a multi-city police chase.
