(L.A.) Kenya Wayman, 54, Died From Substance OD

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 54-year-old White/Caucasian female.

The coroner’s office has identified the woman as Kenya Wayman.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Fentanyl, Methamphetamine, Phencyclidine, and Ethanol Toxicity

RIP KENYA WAYMAN (August 13, 1969 – January 23, 2024)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Tuesday at 11:05 a.m. in a park.

Ruling by the deputy medical examiner was published on April 25, presumably after the results of tox screening had come back positive from the lab.

This is considered an accidental, i.e., unintentional, overdose.
