(L.A.) Kenneth Watson, 17, Died From a Carfentanil OD

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 17-year-old Black male that occurred at his residence.

The coroner’s office identified the teen as Kenneth Watson.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Acute Carfentanil Intoxication

RIP KENNETH WATSON (August 24, 2007 – January 20, 2025)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Monday at 8:47 a.m.

This is considered an accidental, i.e., unintentional, drug overdose.
