(L.A.) Kenneth Johnson, 63, Died in a Hospital

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 63-year-old “Latino” male that occurred in a hospital.

The coroner’s office has identified the man as Kenneth Johnson. Born in Kern County. Mother’s maiden name is Lomely.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death A: Sequelae of Liver Cirrhosis

Cause of Death B: Hepatitis C

Other Significant Conditions: Effects of Methamphetamine, Congestive Heart Failure, Atrial Fibrillation

RIP KENNETH JOHNSON (August 30, 1959 – June 11, 2023)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Sunday at 11:02 p.m.

Ruling by the deputy medical examiner was published on September 6, presumably after the results of tox screening came back.

This is considered an accidental drug overdose.
