Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 70-year-old White/Caucasian male that occurred in a hospital.

The coroner’s office identified the man as Kenneth Carlisle.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Arteriosclerotic Cardiovascular Disease

Other Significant Conditions: Lithium Toxicity, Diabetes, Congestive Heart Failure, Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease

This is considered an accidental, i.e., unintentional, drug overdose. Lithium is usually a prescribed medication.
