(L.A.) Kellen Mahone, 31, Died in a Hospital

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 31-year-old Black male that occurred in a hospital.

The coroner’s office has identified the man as Kellen Mahone.

Manner of Death: Homicide

Cause of Death: Multiple Gunshot Wounds

RIP KELLEN CHRISTOPHER “KC” MAHONE (January 22, 1982 – April 17, 2013)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Wednesday at 1:58 a.m.

The decedent’s given name has also been misspelled as Kallen. He was shot dead at 869 South Gramercy Place in Koreatown. Mahone was approached by a man who pulled out a gun and shot him multiple times.

Mahone was residing in an apartment near the location where the shooting occurred.
