(L.A.) Katrina Adams, 52, Died in a Hospital

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 52-year-old Caucasian female that occurred in a hospital.

The coroner’s office has identified the woman as Katrina Adams.

Cause of Death: Effects of Fentanyl and Duloxetine

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Thursday at 4:57 a.m.

This is considered an accidental, i.e., unintentional, drug overdose.

Duloxetine, sold under the brand name Cymbalta among others, is a medication used to treat major depressive disorder, generalized anxiety disorder, obsessive-compulsive disorder, fibromyalgia, neuropathic pain and central sensitization.
