(L.A.) Katherine McNally, 38, Died in North Koreatown

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 38-year-old Caucasian female that occurred in a vehicle.

The coroner’s office identified the woman as Katherine McNally, resident of West Washington Boulevard in Culver City.

Manner of Death: Homicide

Cause of Death: Gunshot Wound of the Chest

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Saturday at 1:20 a.m.

The decedent was fatally shot during an attempted robbery in the area of Mariposa Avenue and Council Street in North Koreatown.

A parolee named Lamont Deshon Dorsey was arrested for the crime. In March 2024 he was sentenced to over 100 years in state prison. He had previously been convicted for a robbery in 2019.
