(L.A.) Karl Hammer, 47, Died at a Bus Stop

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 47-year-old male that occurred at a bus stop.

The coroner’s office identified the man as Karl Hammer and listed his race/ethnicity as White/Caucasian + Asian.

Height: 5 feet 10 inches / Weight: 205 pounds

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Fentanyl, Methamphetamine, and Ethanol Toxicity

RIP KARL N. HAMMER (April 7, 1978 – August 25, 2025)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Monday.

The decedent had an extensive rap sheet going back about 20 years in California and was most recently arrested by LAPD on May 29 for robbery and burglary in Canoga Park.
