Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 34-year-old Hispanic female that occurred at a residence.

The coroner’s office has identified the woman as Karina Moreno.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Acute Alcohol Intoxication

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Friday at 8:22 a.m.

The Department of Medical Examiner publicly disclosed the COD ruling on February 15. She apparently had drunk way too much in the last 24 hours of her life. This can be considered an accidental case of alcohol poisoning — she did not intend to or expect to die.
