(L.A.) Karalyn Jenkins, 29, Died in a Tent

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 29-year-old Black female that occurred in a tent.

The coroner’s office has identified the woman as Karalyn Jenkins.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Effects of Methamphetamine

RIP KARALYN JENKINS (April 18, 1995 – September 2, 2024)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Monday at 6:08 p.m.

Ruling by the deputy medical examiner was published on December 24, presumably after the results of tox screening had come back from the lab.

This is considered an accidental, i.e., unintentional, drug overdose.
