(L.A.) Justin Newby, 37, Died in a Hotel

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 37-year-old White/Caucasian male that occurred in a hotel.

The coroner’s office has identified the man as Justin Newby.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Fentanyl, Methamphetamine, and Ethanol Toxicity

RIP JUSTIN NEWBY (February 10, 1986 – July 8, 2023)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Saturday at 9:15 a.m.

Ruling by the deputy medical examiner was published on September 30, presumably after the results of tox screening came back positive. This is considered an accidental drug overdose.
