The coroner’s office has identified the man as Justin Fralick of Auburn, California.

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Thursday at 8:41 a.m.

Ruling by the deputy medical examiner was released on October 31, presumably after the results of tox screening came back positive for the meth. This is considered an accidental drug overdose.

The decedent Justin A. Fralick was an ADW suspect. He was arrested by Orange County sheriff’s deputies on September 11, 2023, for 245(C) – Assault with a Deadly Weapon Upon a Peace Officer.
