Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 46-year-old Latino male that occurred at his residence.

The coroner’s office identified the man as Julio Gonzales Cortes.

Manner of Death: Undetermined

Cause of Death: Combined Toxic Effects of Carbon Monoxide and Methamphetamine

RIP JULIO GONZALES CORTES (December 11, 1977 – December 6, 2024)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Friday at 10:36 p.m.

The medical examiner was unable to conclude as to whether this was an accidental, suicidal or homicidal death.

The government investigator had initially spelled the decedent’s last names as Gonzalez Cortez.
