(L.A.) Julie Blakkolb, 58, Died From Drug Abuse

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 58-year-old White/Caucasian female that occurred at her residence.

The coroner’s office has identified the woman as Julie Blakkolb.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Combined Effects of Methamphetamine and Fentanyl

Other Significant Condition: Chronic Renal Failure

RIP JULIE BLAKKOLB (January 1, 1966 – November 25, 2024)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Monday at 9:10 p.m.

Ruling by the deputy medical examiner was published on February 15, presumably after the results of tox screening had come back from the lab.

This is considered an accidental, i.e., unintentional, drug overdose.
