(L.A.) Julian Johnson, 22, Died at a Sober Living Residence

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 22-year-old Black male that occurred at a sober living residence.

The coroner’s office identified the young man as Julian Johnson.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Effects of Fentanyl, Lidocaine, and Sertraline

RIP JULIAN JOHNSON (November 14, 2002 – February 14, 2025)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Friday at 12:08 a.m.

Ruling by the deputy medical examiner was published on June 17, presumably after the results of tox screening had come back from the lab.

This is considered an accidental, i.e., unintentional, drug overdose.
