(L.A.) Juan Salazar, 60, Died From Abusing Coke

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 60-year-old Latino male that occurred in a vehicle.

The coroner’s office has identified the individual as Juan Salazar.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Effects of Cocaine

RIP JUAN SALAZAR (September 1, 1964 – December 10, 2024)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Tuesday at 10:00 a.m.

This is considered an accidental, i.e., unintentional, drug overdose.

Note that there were two individuals named “Juan Salazar” who passed away in our county in December 2024. The other one was a 43-year-old who died on December 3.
