(L.A.) Juan Rodas, 30, Died on the 405 Freeway

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 30-year-old Hispanic male that occurred on the San Diego (405) Freeway at Sunset Boulevard.

The coroner’s office has identified the man as Juan Rodas.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Blunt Force Trauma

RIP JUAN RODAS (June 2, 1992 – May 22, 2023)

The crash was reported at 3:36 a.m on the southbound San Diego (405) Freeway at Sunset Boulevard.

Witnesses reported four vehicles involved in the crash with a body in the middle of the freeway. Rodas was pronounced dead at the scene.

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Monday at 3:53 a.m.
