(L.A.) Juan Davila, 33, Died in a Park

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 33-year-old Latino male that occurred in a park.

The coroner’s office identified the man as Juan Davila.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Fentanyl Toxicity

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Wednesday.

Ruling by the deputy medical examiner was published in early August, presumably after the results of tox screening had come back from the lab.

This is considered an accidental, i.e., unintentional, drug overdose.
