(L.A.) Joseph Wang, 47, Died From Abusing Coke

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 47-year-old Asian male that occurred in a hospital.

The coroner’s office has identified the man as Joseph Wang.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Congestive Heart Failure

Other Significant Condition: Effects of Cocaine

RIP JOSEPH WANG (January 9, 1978 – February 1, 2025)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Saturday at 10:19 p.m.

Ruling by the deputy medical examiner was published on February 27.

This is considered an accidental, i.e., unintentional, drug overdose.
