(L.A.) Joseph Page, 70, Died in a Vehicle

Case Number: 2025-05322

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 70-year-old Black male that occurred in a vehicle.

The coroner’s office has identified the man as Joseph Page.

Manner of Death : Natural

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Arteriosclerotic Cardiovascular Disease

Other Significant Condition: Heroin Effects

RIP JOSEPH PAGE (June 16, 1954 – March 25, 2025)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Tuesday at 6:42 p.m.

The government investigator had initially given the decedent’s name as David Page and determined his death as natural, from a heart issue. Apparently on May 8, results from the lab came back showing heroin because the manner of death changed.

This is now considered an accidental, i.e., unintentional, drug overdose.

It was the heroin that likely caused his heart to fail. He suffered either a heart attack (myocardial infarction) or cardiac arrest.
