(L.A.) Joseph Mooers, 37, Died at a Residence

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 37-year-old White/Caucasian male that occurred at his residence.

The coroner’s office has identified the man as Joseph Mooers.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Dilated Cardiomyopathy

Other Significant Conditions: Coronary Artery Disease, Effects of Methamphetamine and Opiates

RIP JOSEPH MOOERS (September 14, 1986 – May 20, 2024)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Monday at 8:50 a.m.

Ruling by the deputy medical examiner was published on July 16, presumably after the results of tox screening had come back positive for the drugs.

This is considered an accidental overdose.
