(L.A.) Joseph Delgado, 68, Died on a Sidewalk

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 68-year-old Latino male that occurred on a sidewalk.

The coroner’s office identified the man as Joseph Delgado.

Cause of Death: Effects of Heroin and Codeine

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Friday.

Ruling by the deputy medical examiner was published on August 26, presumably after the results of tox screening had come back from the lab.

This is considered an accidental, i.e., unintentional, drug overdose.
