(L.A.) Jose Vasquez, 41, Died in a Hospital

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 41-year-old Latino male that occurred in a hospital.

The coroner’s office identified the man as Jose Vasquez.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Effects of Methamphetamine

Other Significant Condition: Arteriosclerotic Cardiovascular Disease

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Sunday.

Ruling by the deputy medical examiner was published on October 16, presumably after the results of tox screening had come back from the lab. This is considered an accidental, i.e., unintentional, drug overdose.

Note that there are multiple decedents named “Jose Vasquez” in public records.
