Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 35-year-old Latino male that occurred under a bridge.

The coroner’s office identified the man as Jose Gutierrez.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Acute Fentanyl Intoxication

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Monday at 12:30 p.m.

This is considered an accidental, i.e., unintentional, drug overdose.
